Information on the processing of personal data for clients

The protection of your personal data is important to us. With this document, in accordance with applicable legislation, in particular Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council No. 2016/679 – General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and on the basis of Act 110/2019 Coll., which implements this directive into Czech law, we would like to inform you about how we handle your personal data.

1. Personal data controller.

The personal data controller for Villa Prima at Splitska 2, Kastel Stafilic, 21217 Croatia is Lenka Kaňovská, residing at Pastýrna 1725, Uherské Hradiště 68601. The controller has not appointed a personal data protection officer because the legal grounds for the appointment were not met.

2. Reason for collecting personal data.

In accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR c( and E) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), personal data may be collected for legitimate purposes of processing and for compliance with legal obligations of the data controllers, as well as for the performance of tasks carried out in the public interest in the exercise of official authority of the data controller in the sense of the obligation to provide access to data.

The relevant regulations of Croatia stipulate that the provider of accommodation services in a hospitality facility registered for the provision of accommodation services (i.e. a travel agency authorized by the provider of these services) is obliged to collect and register in the unified visitor control system e Visitor.

3. What personal data of the client we process and the purpose of the processing.

We must enter the following personal data of the person using the accommodation service (visitor/tourist) into the eVisitor Check-in and Check-out registration system:

1. Surname and first name.

2. Place, country and date of birth.

3. Citizenship.

4. Document type and identification number.

5. Place of residence (temporary residence) and address.

6. Date and time of arrival, date and time of departure from the facility.

7. Sex.

8. Basis for exemption from paying the tourist tax, i.e. for reducing the payment of the tourist tax.

We process your personal data mainly for the purpose of providing our services and also in order to be able to fulfill the obligations imposed on us by legal regulations. The processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of the contract, for the implementation of measures taken prior to the conclusion of the contract or for the fulfillment of legal obligations that apply to us. Furthermore, to inform you about the offer of our services. 4. Recipients of personal data.

We do not transfer your personal data to other persons without your knowledge, unless we are required to do so by a legal regulation, a decision of a public authority, or if it is necessary to protect the rights of the Administrator. The Administrator may entrust the processing of data to a third party, the so-called processor. Processing is possible only on the basis of a concluded contract that obliges the processor to the same level of personal data protection as the Administrator itself. The processing of personal data is carried out by the Administrator, but personal data is also processed for the Administrator by an IT service provider or other providers of processing software, services and applications, which the Administrator does not currently use.

We do not transfer your personal data outside the EU.

The relevant data is collected by the accommodation provider and processed by the accommodation provider in the hospitality facility, tourist associations and public authorities of Croatia for the following legal purposes:

1. Checking the fulfillment of the obligation to register the check-in and check-out of visits by the payer (accommodation provider) pursuant to the Act on Sojourn Tax (OG 152/08, 59/09, 97/13, 158/13 and 30/14) and the Decree of 126/15 on the method of keeping records of visits and the form and content of the visitor registration form with the Tourist Association (OG 126/15).

2. Registration, calculation and collection of the sojourn tax pursuant to the Act on Sojourn Tax (OG 152/08, 59/09, 97/13, 158/13 and 30/14) and the Act on Customs Services (OG 68/13, 30/14 and 115/16).

3. Keeping records or guest lists by the accommodation service provider and control of the fulfillment of the aforementioned obligation by the inspection authorities under the Hospitality and Hospitality Act (85/15 and 121/16) and the Tourism Inspection Act (OG 19. /14).

4. Registration of foreigners at the Ministry of the Interior and control of the fulfillment of the aforementioned obligation by the inspection authority under the Aliens Act (OG 130/11, 74/13 and 69/17) and the Police and Authorities Act (OG 76/09 and 92/14).

5. Keeping records of tourists by tourist associations and statistical processing and reporting under the Sojourn Tax Act (OG 152/08, 59/09, 97/13, 158/13 and 30/14) and the Tourism Association and Promotion Act. Croatian Tourism (OG 152/08.
